Module 1: Introduction

• Module 1 will introduce you to UNT's primary online communication channels, empowering you to utilize them effectively.
• Canvas LMS and your UNT email are the primary sources of communication for your courses.

Module 1: UNT Canvas LMS

Canvas is an online-based learning management system (LMS) that is used by both UNT students and faculty. Canvas allows you to access and manage course information, online study materials, and track academic achievements.Please proceed to the next slide to learn how to log in to your Canvas account.

Canvas Login

To access your UNT Canvas Account:

1. Browse learn.unt.edu
2. In the Username field, enter your EUID
3. In the Password field, enter your UNT Password
4. Click Log In

Module 1: UNT Email

All admitted students have a UNT email account, referred to as EagleConnect. This is the official way that UNT communicates with you, and you are responsible for checking your UNT email regularly. Your EagleConnect address is in the form of FirstLast@my.unt.edu, but may contain a number after your last name. Please proceed to the next slide to learn more.

UNT Email Login

To access your UNT Eagle Connect email account:

1. Go to webmail.unt.edu
2. In the Username field, enter your email (firstname.lastname@my.unt.edu)
3. In the Password field, enter your password
4. Click Sign In
