A política da comunicação desempenha um papel crucial no marketing mix tanto de produtos quanto de serviços. O marketing mix, também conhecido como os 4 P's, é um conjunto de estratégias que as empresas utilizam para comercializar os seus produtos ou serviços. Sendo que para além do Produto, Preço, Promoção e Praça, falado anteriormente, para se estabelecer uma óptima política de comunicação vamos ainda mais longe, ao encontro de Pessoas, Processos e Prova ou Evidência Física.

A política de comunicação no marketing mix engloba estratégias para promover produtos ou serviços.
