- There are four official languages spoken in Spain: Castillana, Catalan, Basque (Euskera) and Galician
- The current population of Spain is 47.42 million
- Fun fact - The world's oldest restuarant can be found in Madrid. This is Casa Botín founded in 1725.

Remeber: Nouns are split into the masculine and feminine La = feminine El = masculine The article changes dependent on the gender of the noun and whether it is singular or plural Definite article Is used to refer to something the listener already knows about
