Admission onto uc portal

Staff will need to log into uc portal with their credentials

step 1

Click on "I agree"

Click on the "admission" tab

Click on corresponding child's alien number

step 3

Verify that the child information on portal matches the notice to appear

step 4

Click on status and select "admit"

step 5

Click the "yes" circle confirming that the information has been verified and can be shared with phs (public health services)

click on "admission date" and select the correct date that child is arriving at facility

step 7

click on "admission time" and input the time of arrival of child.

click "Save"

confirmation will show information has been saved

child will now be under "case managment" tab and successfully admitted

Staff will need to log into web eoc with their credentials

select position and incident

step 2

click accept

click on the menu tab

SELECT CHILD LIST

FIND THE CORRESPONDING CHILD AND CLICK ON THE "..." ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE

CLICK ON "EDIT"

step 6

VERIFY THE CHILD'S GENERAL INFORMATION

SCROLL DOWN TO "CASE INFORMATION"

CLICK ON "DATE OF ARRIVAL" AND CHOOSE CORRESPONDING DATE

CHECK OFF THE BOX THAT SAYS "HAS ARRIVED"

SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM AND CLICK ON SAVE

CHILD SHOULD SHOW "ACTIVE" UNDER STATUS WITH A COUNTING LOS OF "0" AND CORRESPONDING "ARRIVAL DATE"

NOTE

Time should correspond with that signed on the transportation manifest and should be the same for children arriving together.

NOTE

It is critical that the information on portal matches with the NTA, if there is any information that does not match on portal it is required for the Intake and Discharge specialist to update portal to reflect accordingly.

NOTE

It is crucial to check off the "Has Arrived" box to ensure the LOS (Length of stay) starts counting on WEB EOC, if this is not checked off the child will appear with a blank LOS).
