What is Active living?

Do you know the feeling when you finish a run? Or maybe you went to the gym? Or, you could have even just gone outside to take a walk. These are all ways of living actively. Living actively has positive effects on your mind, body and soul. For some people, keeping up with an active lifestyle can be easy. But for others, they need a bit of motivation. Wherever you are in your active lifestyle journey is amazing, and I hope this project helps you realize how important it is to keep moving.

How can i be more active?
Start small. Look up an easy Youtube workout video. Take your dog for a walk. Jog around the block. Then, set goals. Create weekly exercise plans., or sign yourself up for a recreational dance class or running group. Get a gym membership! No matter how small you feel your activity is, or how little progress you see, remember: Every time you get up and move makes a difference! And lastly, Have fun! Do something that gets you moving AND brings you joy!

How I choose to live actively
Being physically active has always come naturally to me, as most of the activities I'm interested in involve movement. I especially enjoy dance and horseback riding, and although some days I might be feeling tired or under the weather and lack the motivation to go to an activity, once I'm there and moving, I'm always happier. Being active is so important to me, and I will continue to keep up my fitness and mental health through doing so!
