Who is Nas?

Nas, Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones born on September 14, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York, is one of the most influent rappers in hip-hop history. Raised in the neighborhood of Queensbridge, he began writing lyrics in his teens.

His music career began in 1994 with the debut album "Illmatic", considered a masterpiece of it's genre. Since then, Nas has continued to release successful albums, exploring social and political themes through meaningful lyrics and a unique style, earning him a prominent place in the history of hip hop music.
