Oliver twist

It's the story of a young orphan. He had to beg in the streets because his mother was stripped of all her possessions by a nurse. When he was 9 years old, Oliver was placed in a workhouse. He had to work very hard. It was a horrible place, where the children were mistreated and starved by the adults. One day, Oliver was designated by his friends to ask more food, but the supervisor got angry and he beat Oliver. The boy ran away .

He had to walk during 7 days in the street. Fortunately, he met Fagin, the leader of a gang of child criminals and they teach him how to steal . Unfortunately , one steal going to be badly and Oliver was stopped by police men . The juge don't want listen Oliver because he was a poor and a child and, for him , his speech is worthless. Mr Brownlow, the seller of the store in front of wich there was the steal defended him. He decided to adopt Oliver.

Thanks to Mr Brownlow, now, Oliver can have got food. He can go to school and is really happy.

Charles Dickens was a famous writer. He was born on the 7th February 1812 in Hampshire and he was dead on the 9th June 1870 in Kent . Oliver Twist was written by Charles Dickens in 1839. Charles dickens wrote Great Expectations in 1861, A Christmas Carol in 1843, A Tale of Two Cities in 1859…
