Earth Day, the annual day of environmental action and awareness, was first held on April 22, 1970. In 1971 "Keep America Beautiful", a nonprofit organization founded in 1953, which aims to end littering, to improve recycling, and to beautify American communities, release an advertisement in order to allert the public to the dangers of pollution. Jeff Hong is an animation and storyboard artist who works at Disney Studios in California. He is based in Los Angeles and has worked on movies such as Tarzan and Mulan. Jeff Hong developed a series titled ‘Unhappily Ever After’ which combines realistic backgrounds that juxtapose iconic Disney characters. What can you see in these images?
