Present simple - I, you, we, they

We can use the Present simple to talk about habits, routines, things that we see as permanent, and universal laws.

Subj + verb + obj

Subj + aux do + verb inf + obj

(wh) + aux do + subj + verb inf + (obj)

Repeated actions or habits: We go out every Saturday night. They cook delicious food. You speak English well. I drive to work everyday.

Present simple: he, she, it

She lives in Chile. He doesn't live in Bucaramanga. Does Jack play football? Where does he come from?

If there is a consonant before the letter "y" you change it for -ies, but if there's a vowel, you simply add -s Study - studies pay - pays cry - cries say - says
