Using the SIFT method when evaluating sources online!
- STOP! Look at the website you're on. Do you know it? Can you trust it? Remember your goal-STOP before you fall down a rabbit hole!
- Investigate the Source: Make sure you know what you're reading. Fnd out who put the source out there, and what bias they might have!
- Find Trusted coverage: Don't be afraid to shop around to get a concenses among different sources, or even check the sources your source used.
- Trace back to the original context: Find out the context behind any pictures, qoutes or other media used in your source!
