>> He was the third child of Victor Manuel II of Saboya.>> He participated in the Third War of Italian Independence.>> He married a woman called María Victoria Dal Pozzo, but when she died he married María Leticia Bonaparte>> Before leaving the Spanish's throne he proclamed that Spain was a pack of wolves.

02. Reign in Spain 1870-1873

Amadeo had to face many problems while his kingdom, just as:>> The discontent of most of the population.>> The Cuban War of 1869.>>The death of Prim.All this caused him to abdicate and leave the country.

The moment he came to the Spanish's throne his main supporter, General Prim was assasinated the 3rd of December of 1870

03. His attempt of murder

The night of the 18 of Jule Amadeo and his wife were coming back to the royal palace.When they crossed La Puerta del Sol several men came up to their car and shot them three times but any of them actually got them.The king knew that he was being threaten after being told by the inspector Joaquín Martín

04. His death

He died at the age of 44 years old the 18th of January of 1890.Leaving 4 descendants between his two marriages.
