Soybeans
At least 93% of all soybeans produced in the United States have been genetically modified to improve efficiency and tolerate pesticide applications to get rid of insects that might affect the crop. Soybeans are used in vegetable oil, tofu and found in many processed foods.

Arctic Apples
Typically apples will brown after being sliced open and exposed to the open air. The Arctic Apple has been genetically modified to be a non-browning apple and was one of the first GMOs marketed to consumers to capitalize on convenience.
