The Harpies

Hello boys and girls of 5th grade, my name is Nora and this is my minipresentation about mythical creatures.

NAME:

The name of these mythical creatures are The Harpies.

ORIGIN:

They appeared in the story of Fineus, the king of Thrace.

Zeus wish harm to Fineus. He condemnated the king of Thrace with the Harpies, that took out his food and he was very hungry.

APPARENCE:

They were women with a vulture body.

ABILITIES:

They could manipulate fire with their form and transform it into a human.There had a voracius hungry.

FAMOUS STORIES:

There is a story from greece that explains how the Harpias disappeared: Fineus called Zetes and Calais (superheroes of anthic greece) to throw out them.

You can find them in books like "Song of Fire and Ice"
