Timeline of technologies using wireframes
From Module 3
I chose this activity because it has a lot of modern applications in the fact that most of our work and learning is done on the computer and wireframing is the beginning process of creating a final product that appeals to online users.
Potentional advantage to not having Objectives
This took me awhile to figure out as my brain is inherently linked to having objectives for everything. It is drilled into our heads as teachers to think about the objectives for each and every lesson. I talked with a fellow teacher and we came up with a few advantages to not having objectives.
- Flexibity
- There is a certain freedom in not having objectives because you are able to be flexible and adapt lessons based on the needs in the classrooms and allows facilitators to make adjustments to lessons while in the lesson.
- Open-ended Learning
- Learners can explore different pathways and learn about things that are personal to them and uncover connections that have deeper meaning to them.
- Motivational Learning
- This goes along with the one above but learning takes place as motivation rather than what is exspected. Learners engage with their lessons due to personal interest or curiosity rather than what the objective states
