APPLE è un’azienda multinazionale statunitense che produce sistemi operativi, smartphone, computer e dispositivi multimediali. Con sede a Cupertino, in California, la società fu fondata nel 1976 da Steve Jobs, Steve Wazniak e Ronald Wayne a Los Altos, nella Silicon Valley.La classifica Best global brands 2023 , che enuncia i 100 marchi più importanti al mondo, pone l’azienda Apple al primo posto per l’11º anno di fila. L’azienda opera a livello globale dal 1980, quando ebbe un immediato successo finanziario, diventando un’azienda pubblica.

DELOCALIZZAZIONE APPLE

Da anni Apple, insieme ad altre aziende, aveva scelto la Cina per la realizzazione dei suoi prodotti. Il 95% degli iPhone viene prodotto in Cina, nella quale l’azienda ha trovato una forza lavoro meno costosa di quella degli Stati Uniti, un mercato ampio e una situazione politica stabile

Sono ormai diversi anni , invece, che Apple ha iniziato a diversificare i paesi in cui vengono assemblati i suoi prodotti, iPhone in particolare. Sebbene la stragrande maggioranza venga prodotta ancora in Cina, Apple sta utilizzando da tempo anche le strutture del suo storico partner Foxconn anche in Brasile e in India

La delocalizzazione dell’azienda Apple avviene in quanto le imprese in Cina sono dotate di macchinari e personale altamente qualificati, soprattutto personale specializzato in elettronica; per cui non è possibile fare una produzione di elettronica di livello eccellente da nessun altra parte
