Necoclí is a fantastic municipality, located in the northwest of the department of Antioquia, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, on the eastern side of the Gulf of Urabá. Its beaches are beautiful, and it has many tourist attractions that will delight you and, above all, teach you about its culture.

HAVING BREAKFAST AS A FAMILY

Every morning, you can go to the market square for breakfast and you will notice the number of people eating in the restaurants there, sharing stories, laughing, and treating each other like family.

The traffic police. They have taken the task of setting up checkpoints to better control the people entering and leaving the town.

These are the patronal and representative festivities of the municipality. People from all over come to enjoy the most extraordinary week in January. It starts with the "alborada," where people from the town and visitors gather in the main park in the early morning and walk through the whole town with their respective "porro" bands until dawn, marking the opening of the true coconut festivities. These include bullfighting, concerts, beauty pageants, horse parades, and many more events.

This festival takes place in the village of MULATOS where community members, usually elderly people, prepare a great variety of sweets such as papaya, banana, coconut, yam, and many more for those who attend this festival. The attendees are generally residents of the surrounding villages and towns, but also people from other parts of Colombia and even other countries.

The people involved in these crimes take advantage of the high influx of tourists in the town to achieve their objectives. But in recent months, it's not just individuals being targeted; even stores owned by locals are being affected.

THE BEST COMPANY BEFORE GOING TO WORK

if you want to have a coffee or a delicious orange juice. There is a man with incredible charisma and his juice cart, everyone calls him "el mocho". You will see different people sitting there, sharing while enjoying their drink before going to work. And if you sit with them to have something, they will include you in their conversation even if they don't know you. .

There is now a higher number of police officers during peak seasons who are committed to surveillance and monitoring individuals with suspicious behavior. They patrol the streets constantly, especially in areas where local businesses are located.

TREE OF LOVE AND LIFEIt is a caracolí tree that is over 240 years old, with a circumference of 11 meters and a height of 12 meters. The community attributes miracles and the fulfillment of many wishes to this tree, which is why it is given this name. Approximately 12 people can enter the inside of the tree, and you can appreciate the entry of sunlight from the highest part of the hollowed-out crown. It is located in El Hoyito, a village just 5 kilometers from the urban center, on land dedicated to livestock.

On this day, the municipality's government organizes activities in the main park for children. For example, there are games, trampolines, inflatable castles, and sections where they can have different figures painted on their faces. It is a day where children are the protagonists.

The mud volcano is one of the most captivating destinations for people who visit it. This volcano is much more than just a biological phenomenon; it is a magical place that combines the wonders of the region's nature with its healing properties, as its mud is beneficial for the skin.

But beyond this, this beauty created by nature has an aura of charm that captivates anyone who visits it.Being inside it, you will be able to perceive the earthy aroma that permeates the air and feel the unique texture of this mud on your skin.

It is an artistic, historical, and cultural space where you can appreciate murals that tell a bit of the history, customs, and culture of the municipality through art. As its name suggests, it is also home to palm trees, which are of great size and have many years of antiquity. In this place, you will not only have the opportunity to appreciate the artistic beauty and walk around it, but you will also find a wide variety of food and drinks to share with family and friends. Moreover, and no less important, you will find a great variety of hotels and hostels with different prices for your convenience.

The community has become more aware and is willing to guide tourists when they are lost or disoriented, and show them where the nearest police stations are located.
