The climate in the rainforest is humid due to its abundant rainfall and temperate due to its warm temperatures, while in the tundra it has a very cold climate, strong winds and very little rainfall. The rainforest is rainier than tundra.

However, with climate change, climates have been changing in these regions, with droughts occurring in rainforest and melting snows in tundras.

The temperature of the tundra is lower than that of the rainforest. The temperature of the tundra ranges from -34 to -6 degrees Celsius and the temperature of the rainforest ranges from 25 to 29 degrees Celsius

The tundra is the coldest ecosystem in the world, while the rainforest is a warmer and wetter biome.The rainforest has more biodiversity than the tundra in terms of flora and fauna because the tundra is the coldest region on the planet and because of this it has fewer nutrients in its soil than the rainforest, which does not allow for plant growth. The tundra is less rainy than the rainforest, so the climate is warmer in the rainforest.

In the rainforest the soil is more suitable for plant growth than in the tundra. The flora of the tundra is less diverse than the flora of the rainforest because in the rainforest there are a variety of plants and trees such as figs, walnuts, cocoa, coffee plant, ceibas, bromeliads, orchids, pacifloras, mahogany, rubber, among others; while in the tundra there are mosses, cotton, lichens, caryxes and dwarf shrubs.

The rainforest is the richest ecosystem in animal species such as primates and other mammalian species, different types of birds, amphibians, fish and reptiles.Depending on the geographical location of the rainforest, the species that inhabit it vary. African rainforests are home to primates such as vervet monkeys, baboons, chimpanzees and gorillas. The rainforests of Latin America are home to howler monkeys, spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and squirrel monkeys.Only lemurs live in Madagascar and in Asia there are only proboscis monkeys, macaques, langurs, gibbons and orangutans. However, most of these forests are home to animals such as jaguars, iguanas, rattlesnakes, various types of frogs, salamanders, amphibians, insects such as butterflies or beetles, as well as toucans, parrots, bats, pink dolphins, white-tailed deer, wild boar and many more; that's why it's the most diverse biome on Earth.

The Arctic tundra is home to animals such as the arctic fox, the arctic wolf, the polar bear, snow geese, musk oxen, caribou, moose, belugas, seals and walruses mainly, however sea lions also live there as well as in the Antarctic tundra. The Alpina tundra is home to goats, bighorn sheep, sheep, chamois and some types of birds. The Antarctic tundra is home to little wildlife, including penguins, whales, seals, sea lions, albatrosses and seagulls. Fewer mammals live in the Antarctic tundra than in the other types of this ecosystem.

Rainforest landscapes vs Tundra landscapes

The Lacandon rainforest and the Nevado de Toluca are located in the same country, Mexico.Lacandon rainforest as popular as Nevado de Toluca.

The Amazon rainforest is in South America and the Antarctic tundra is at the north pole. The Antarctic tundra has the Northern Lights and because of that beautiful view it is the best place to vacation during the Christmas season.

The Congo rainforest is located in Africa, while the Antarctic tundra is located at the South Pole. The Congo rainforest is more seen by humans than the Antarctic tundra

The tundra is located at the North Pole in Greenland, Iceland, northern Canada, northern Russia, Siberia, Norway and other northern European countries, also in high-altitude areas; and at the South Pole in Antarctica, some islands and part of Chile and Argentina. 2. The Amazon is the tropical rainforest that provides the most oxygen to the Earth by more than 20%. 3. Tundra, as well as rainforest, have been affected by climate warming in recent years. 4. The Arctic tundra is covered with permafrost, a layer of soil that has been frozen for thousands of years, however it is in danger of thawing due to rising temperatures in the area. 5. Both the rainforest and the tundra have endemic species in danger of extinction that can only be preserved if we achieve a change as humanity, from raising awareness as a population to implementing agricultural, forestable and sustainable practices to help these beautiful ecosystems that are the greatest source of natural resources on the planet.
