"social media is not free"

This phrase can be interpreted in different ways, but in general it means that social media is not completely free. People thinks that using plattaforms like facebook, twitter, instagram, tik tok or others application does not involve any costs. Often when we want to dowload a new application on the store it said that it's free... but it's not true because there are a lot of people behind the screen that try to manipulate us and catch our attention by using the advertisemement and other methods to make some money. Users, like us that use social media every day pay indirectly the application developers that took our personal data and resell them to other people for profit

Why are we attracted to social media?
