WHAT IS COMPARING?
Comparing means finding how things are similar or different.
We often compare things based on their size, speed, amount, or quality.

INTRODUCING 'COMPARATIVE'
Comparative adjectives are used to compare two things.
We add "-er" to most adjectives to make them comparative.
For example, if a cat is faster than a dog, we say the cat is faster.

INTRODUCING 'SUPERLATIVE'
Superlative adjectives are used to compare three or more things.
We add "-est" to most adjectives to make them superlative.
For example, if a mountain is the tallest in the world, we say it is the tallest mountain.
