What is Explain Everything?

Explain Everything is a presentation platform that allows users to create presentations or explanations. Users can add recordings, animations, and other elements to engage their audience. This technology redefines the learning process, allowing students and staff to complete new tasks that previously could have only been imagined. This makes this a transformative tool according to the SAMR Model.

How Can Staff Use it?

• Create an engaging lesson introduction (5E- Engage)
• Share and annotate work samples for instruction
• Create step-by-step tutorials
• Add co-teachers to your document and brainstorm together.
• Record stories or lessons to share with students on various platforms. (automation)

How Can students use it?

• Allow students to share their work and annotate it.
• Share their thinking by recording an explanation
• Complete an experiment and record their process ( 5E-Explore)
• Create interactive book reports or responses to reading.
• Analyze the work of others
• Collaborate on various projects using the sharing feature.

Students can explore different ways to explain a concept and share work. They also have the opportunity to collaborate with peers. Staff can use Explain everything to brainstorm lessons, share ideas and demonstrate concepts to others.
