Se juega siempre entre 2 jugadores. Cada uno elige una forma (O o X). En cada turno cada jugador coloca una de sus fichas. El jugador que consigue colocar 3 fichas seguidas en una línea horizontal, vertical o diagonal gana la partida. Una vez se llenan todos los espacios disponibles si nadie consigue ubicar 3 fichas seguidas la partida termina en empate.
