What am I and Where do I live?

People have me for a pet. I like to be inside with my family. I use my legs to move. I have fur to keep me warm. I breathe heavily to stay cool. I have a long tongue to help me drink water. I have sharp teeth to help me chew.

I live in the Arctic where it is very cold. I keep safe with camouflaging fur. I can blend into the snow to hide. I have thick fur and a layer of fat to keep me warm. I eat seals, carcasses, and fish. I am intelligent, playful, and curious.

I live in all types of environments. Some say I have a beautiful singing voice. There are types of me that can say what humans say. I have a beak that helps me get my food. I gather items to build my house. I have wings so that I can fly. Some of my species eat small insects and plants others eat mice and rodents.

I live in the Savannah woodlands of Africa. I have a gentle personality. I have patches on my body. I have a long neck that helps me get food off tall trees. I will be 6 feet tall when I am born. I eat leaves and shrubs. I can grow up to 18 feet. I can run 37 miles per hour.

I live in freshwater and Saltwater. I have fins to help move in the water. I have slippery scales that protect me. Sea animals have a hard time catching me. I can come in many colors and sizes.

I can live in cold or warm environments. I build my house in ponds, rivers, marshes, and streams. I have teeth made for chewing wood. I can cut down a tree with my teeth alone. I make shelters out of sticks, mud, and rocks. I eat twigs and plants.

I live in the desert or rainforests. I can camouflage myself in different environments. When in the desert I am brown. When in the rainforest I am green. I keep myself safe by changing my color. I have a love sticky tongue to catch insects. I am cold-blooded and have tough scaley skin. I need the sun to keep my body at the right temperature.

I live in the ocean. I am a warm-blooded animal. I breathe through my lungs. I eat fish, squid, and crustaceans. The largest of my kind is the orca. I live in all different environments. I am smart and very fast. I make a variety of sounds including whistles, clicks, squawks, barks, and moans.

I can be a pet or a wild animal. I live in Africa, Asia, or America. I have 38 different types of species. I like to hunt for my food. I can see good in the dark. I come in all sizes and colors. I have claws that protect me from danger or hunt for food. I walk on my toes. I have excellent balance.

I live in many different environments. I live in cold places like the Arctic. I also live in warm places like Australia. I can walk long distances. I have wings but I do not fly. My "tuxedo" look helps camouflage me from predators. When I find my mate it's for life.
