Movie Trailer Project Guidelines A movie trailer shows the characters and sets up what the story is about without giving too much away. The purpose of a movie trailer is to fill the viewer curiosity, leaving them wanting to know more. If by the end of the trailer, the person watching says “Wow! This looks cool, I want to see more!” than you know you have done a good job. What your movie trailer must include:● Setting: where does this book take place? ● Introduction of characters and tell a little about each one ● Name five main events that happen in the book without giving away the ending ● Make sure your presentation is in sequence (the order in which events actually happened) ● Include ONE​ quote from the book with an exact page number ● A catchy ending line --Ex. Will Crash and Penn ever become friends? ● Include images AND text in your presentation (and music if possible) You may use WeVideo to complete your movie trailer.
