During the Islamic Goldenage, Córdoba was the Europe's biggest city and became the capital of Al-Andalus, and a prominent center of education and learning in the world, producing numerous philosophers and scientist.

We live in Andalusia, it is the southermost autonomuos comunity in Peninsular Spain. It is the populous and the second largest autonomous in the country.

The region has a rich culture and strong identity

The geostrategic position of Andalusia in the extreme south of Europe, providing a gateway betwen Europe and Africa added it's position between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea and it can be no surprise that Andalusia has figured prominently in the history of Europe and the Mediterranean.

The territory is divided into eight provinces: Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Málaga and Sevilla, and this is the capital city. The name "Andalusia" is derived from the Arabic word Al-andalus.

Andalusia has historically been an agricultural region, compared to the rest of Spain and the rest of Europe.
