RECYCLING PROCESS
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. It’s a crucial practice that contributes to environmental sustainability and resource conservation. Here are some key points about recycling: Purpose and Benefits: Recycling helps reduce the burden on landfills by diverting waste away from disposal sites. It conserves natural resources by reusing materials instead of extracting new ones. Energy recovery from waste materials is another aspect of recycling. WHY IS RECYCLING IMPORTANT
For many of us, recycling has become second nature. Our plastic bottles and paper waste go in their respective bins, and the waste gets picked up on the curb. Yet, even though recycling is a staple in our routines, many of us still don't know what recycling actually is.
Recycling is more than just putting paper and plastic waste in a bin. And believe it or not, many items that have a recycling symbol aren't actually recyclable.
