Where is London?
London is the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is the second largest city in Europe (London's population is about 9 million) and one of the oldest metropolitan areas in the world. London is in the southeast of England and is located on the River Thames.

The London Eye is a large metal Ferris wheel. It is also known as the Millennium Wheel and is one of the largest observation wheels in the world.The Eye was opened in 2000. It is 135 metres high. At the time it was built, in 1999, it was the tallest giant wheel in the world, and at present it is Europe's tallest Ferris wheel.

BUCKINGhAM PALACE
Buckingham Palace has been the London home of the British king or queen since 1837.It is used by Queen Elizabeth Il as her official residence, or place to stay. The queen and her family live in the palace for some of the year, but it is also used for important events, meetings, and receptions.

Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bed of the striking clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, although the name is frequently extended to refer also to the clock and the clock tower.
ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL
St. Paul's Cathedral, the biggest church in London, is one of the most significant buildings in the world widely recognized for the spectacular dome with a lantern on the top.The first church to stand in the same place was a wooden church dedicated to the Apostle Paul, built in 604 AD by King Ethelbert of Kent.
tOWER OF londON
The Tower of London is a Royal Palace and fortress, it'a a medieval castle in the heart of London with a bloody history. It was established in the year 1066 by Julliam the Conqueror. Over the centuries it has had many functions. It was a prison for famous prisoners, like Elizabeth I and later on it was the home of the Crown Jewels.
British museum
The British Museum is a public museum dedicated to human history, art and culture located in the Bloomsbury area of London. The history of the British Museum began with the English physician, naturalist and collector Sir Hans Sloane, who died in 1753. Its permanent collection of eight million works is the largest in the world. It documents the story of human culture from its beginnings to the present.
HYDE PARK
It is the major park in Central London. It was established by Henry VIlI in 1536 when he took the land from Westminster Abbey and used it as a hunting ground.It opened to the public in 1637 and quickly became popular, particularly for May Day parades. The Great Exhibition of 1851 was held in the park, for which The Crystal Palace designed by Joseph Paxton.
trafalgar square
Trafalgar Square is one of the most important and bustling squares in London: designed in 1830 to commemorate the British victory against the French and Spanish fleets in the Battle of Trafalgar. In the centre of the square is Nelson’s Column, built in 1843 in honour of Admiral Lord Nelson, shot and killed in action as commander in chief of the British army in the battle of Trafalgar. On the north side of the square is the National Gallery and in front are two impressive fountains that light up when night falls.
westminster abbey
It is a large, mainly Gothic abbey church in the City of Westminster, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster, it is one of the United Kingdom's most notable religious buildings and the traditional place of coronation and a burial sse for English and, later, British monarcha.
Piccadilly Circus
Piccadilly Circus is a junction in London's West End and it is one of London's most popular tourist destinations, home to the iconic Piccadilly screens and the statue of Eros.It connects Regent Street with the major shopping street Piccadilly. Despite its name, there are no elephants or clowns at the junction.
