Sea Cadet Pod
This is our main briefing room, lunch/ break room and classroom for all of our Boat Station courses. However some courses may be asked to operate in the Sea Cadet Trailer to stop overcrowding. Please keep it tidy and make use of the shelves at the back and hooks for hanging belonging up. There is also loads of resources to use too. Please make sure the door is locked after use, to gain access please ask the Duty Lead Instructor.
Moorings
Our Displacement Powerboats live here, on the first set of moorings. Their boat boxes and fuel are ashore. Sometimes our Trinities live on the second set of moorings. Please check with the Duty Lead Instructor.
Emergency Equipment
A grab bag that includes a First Aid Kit, Foil Blankets and other items you may need to grab in an emergency. Please keep activity registers/ T1 Cards here too.
Sea Cadet Pontoon - Ramada
The area of water on the inside of the Pontoon is also known as Canoe Corner. All Paddlesport kit is stored here. All boats must be locked onto the Rack after each use, the Hut locked and the Pontoon gate locked too. To gain access please ask the Duty Lead Instructor.

Main entrance
The London Regatta Centre, managed by Royal Albert Docks Trust is home to many different users, a big part of it is the Royal Docks Watersports Centre and where Sea Cadets - Royal Docks Boat Station is based. Please respect all users. Please check the closing times on the door as the Centre may close before you finish your activity. The Duty Lead Instructor will be able to give you access if the door is locked.
First Aid Station
A pouch with plasters and wipes, eye wash, mouth shield, ice pack, microwavable heat pack, hand sanitiser and gloves. A QR code for incident reporting is visable here too.
Centre Bins
When asked to, please place all rubbish in the bins here. Black lid for all rubbish. Orange for mixed recyling and Blue for paper and carboard only.
Sea Cadet Island - Mahwen
Do not use these lockers, they are for Club members only.All Sea Cadets must keep their belonging either in the Sea Cadet Pod or Sea Cadet Trailer.
Dunk Tanks
If your kit is wet or dirty you must dunk them in the fresh water and milton mix. Once dunked, use a hanger to place your kit on the empty rail inside the Kit Store.
Afloat Assembly Point and Emergency Equipment
Ramada is our main pontoon to get afloat, but it is also an assembly point if we need to evacuate afloat and holds emergency equipment. In the event that you must evacuate afloat you will be instructed to do so by your Instructor.
Slipway Pontoon
Alternative pontoon to get afloat and it is where we launch and recover most of our boats. Please make sure the gate is locked after use, to gain access please ask the Duty Lead Instructor.

The Boat Park is our quarantine area, for kit that is being fixed or not in use. Access into here is via the Duty Lead Instructor.

Emergency Defibrillator
Ashore Assembly Point
When you are ashore and you hear the fire alarm or asked to evacuate the Centre, you must take the nearest exit to this point, which is opposite Travel Lodge Hotel.
Operating through the Docks
There is a 5 knot speed limit in the Docks. You have to request planing speed training with the Duty Lead Instructor. The only exception to this if there is an emergency. If you wish to pass through the bridge you must request this with the Duty Lead Instructor and then sound one long blast of your horn.

All water safety equipment and clothing can be found here. Only Instructors should enter the Kit Store and they are responsible to issue kit to their Students. Make sure the door is closed after use and ask the Duty Lead Instructor for access.
