A partical drive-in theatre, the theatre de Guadalupe, opened in Las Cruses, New Mexico, in 1915. A drive-in theatre is a structure consisting of a large outdoor screen, a projection booth, a concession stand, and a large parking lot for cars. They where very popular with families and young people because of the informal environment compared to cinema.

Korean War

The Lisbon Metro is the rapid transit system in Lisbon. Opened in December 1959, it was the first metro system in Portugal. It started with 11 stations, 6.6 km and 1 line. As of 2017, the system has 56 stations, 44.5 km and 4 lines.
