Intro

You can get hurt everywere, no matter how careful you are, there's always some chance. But today I'll be talking about ways you can get hurt in home and school and how to cure you.

Accidents and injuries

An how to take care of them

Cuts

You could cut yourself because of some broken glass, or maybe because of a knife... depending on the case, it should be treated in different ways: if it isn't a dep cut, you can wash it with water and soap, and if you want to, cover it up with a band aid, but if it is, it's recommendable to go to emergency room.

Sprains and broken bones

You are playing with your friends, runnings, when suddenly you bend your foot. After a visit to the doctor, they put a bandage on your ankle. All you have to do is rest your foot and try the best to not move it. In about one week, you should be alright. A similar thing that can happen is that you break your bone, for example, the radius. In this case, you use arm cast or a splint, and maybe you go into a surgery to align the bone, putting nails or screws.

Burns

There are different type of burns: you can get burn by the sun, or because of a hot pan.For the sunburn, you should get out of the sun as soon as possible, take a cool shower, put on some cream and drink water. You can also use cold compresses. There are different levels of burns, and you must treat each type according to its necessity.

Hitting any part of your body

Hitting some part of your body may cause an aftereffect (for example, hitting very hard your head), but if it's just a normal hit, not too hard to break your bones or make you a sprain, you'll possibly have a bruise. They'll hurt for a while, but nothing more.

Thanks for your attention!
