Teachers work about 50 hours a week including in class teaching and out of class teaching. This can obviously fluctuate with the teacher including experience and personal time. There are six hours in a school day but a lot of time is put into lesson planning,grading, and extra time out of class tutoring if available.

In order for me to become a teacher there are many requirements I have to complete to earn this job. I want to earn a masters before teaching which is an additional two years of schooling after a masters degree. The starting pay for teachers with masters is more compared to those without. The average salary for a teacher in California with a masters is $74,645. This is included with summer and winter vacations as well as other days off and breaks in school.

We strive to avoid There are many obstacles for high school teachers to overcome in their line of work. One of the biggest challenges in education is managing varied classrooms with kids from different origins and skill levels. It might be especially difficult to maintain classroom discipline and deal with behavioral difficulties among students. These difficulties can be made worse by a lack of resources and assistance, including inadequate money for professional development and tools. High stress and burnout can result from juggling extracurricular activities, personal obligations, and administrative work. Dedicated high school teachers nevertheless have a significant influence on the lives of their pupils in spite of these challenges.

The goal of my infographic is to address why I would Like to be a highschool teacher. I want to be a highschool teacher, because of course I love the kids and I want to be able to guide them to being great members of society. I remember being in highschool not knowing who I am and I found it very helpful finding influential teachers to help guide me and make school fun when it easily could not have been. .
