Welcome to the Interactive & Immersive Learning Design Lab
In this lab, participants will explore various engagement tools and gamification strategies to craft enriching learning experiences. Educators will learn to integrate interactive technologies and game-based elements into their curriculum, making learning more dynamic and student-centered. Through a hands-on 'make & take' approach, participants will create ready-to-use activities and resources that bring lessons to life and captivate students' imaginations.

- Sign Up/Login to QuizizzGo to Quizizz.com and either log in to your existing account or sign up for a new one.
- Create a New LessonSearch the library or create your own. Create Lessons from scratch, import Slides from Google Drive, or upload a PDF file.
- Add Slides & MediaChoose a slide type and theme, then add content like text, images, and web page links.
- Add Questions and Answer ExplanationsChoose your question type (multiple choice, fill in the blank, draw, etc.) and select correct answer(s). For each question, Add answer explanation and Include diagrams/images for further learning.
- Host or Assign the LessonOnce your lesson is ready, you choose to Start a live lesson (instructor-led) or Assign practice (asynchronous)

Getting Started with KamiA beginner's guide to navigating and using Kami's basic features.
- Select a TextChoose a suitable text for your read-aloud and obtain a digital version, such as PDF or Google Doc.
- Open Kami & Upload Your DocumentOpen Kami and select the document you wish to turn into an assignment.
- Add Instructions & Interactive ContentUse the Kami toolbar to add text or video instructions for students. If desired, add additional multimedia content to enhance the activity.
- Assign to StudentsFrom the menu, select Create Assignment and enter the details. Adjust settings to determine which features students will have access to, then post to Google Classroom.
- Review Submissions & Provide FeedbackOnce students have completed the assignment, review their submissions in Google Classroom and provide feedback using Class View.

- Create Classes in WeVideo and Invite StudentsFrom the Classes page, click Add new class. On the People page, select Import from Google Classroom to invite students.
- Add a New BulbFrom the WeVideo Dashboard, select Interactivity and click Add New Bulb. Select from videos you've created in WeVideo or import from Vimeo or YouTube.
- Add InteractionsNavigate to different times in your video and questions and annotations. Edit your questions and add choices, correct answers, and feedback.
