THE CDCU INVESTIGATE ANY CYBER CRIME FROM A SIMPLE EMAIL OR SOCIAL MEDIA HACKING, UP TO A MULTI MILLION POUND COMPANY BEING HACKED AND RANSOMED. WE USE VARIOUS TOOLS INCLUDE BLOCKCHAIN ANALYSIS, IP ADDRESS TRACING, DEVICE DOWNLOADS AND CELLSITE ANALYSIS.

Operation Ladder - 50 BitCoin theft.When stolen in 2017 worth approx - £150,000In 2022 it would have been worth - £1,650,00010 BitCoin recovered worth £420,000
The KYC deatails were returned and identified a suspect.
Chainalysis showed that the funds were split and partially sent to Wirex
A reuest was sent to Wirex for KYC Details

3 males between the ages of 11-13 playing Call of Duty. For a laugh, they were all using Booting tools to knock each other off the game. One of them input the IP address wrong and Booted a Doctors Surgery off for a Day instead.
