Picasso

Pablo Ruiz Picasso was one of the most important artists of the 20th century thanks to his paintings. He was born on October 25, 1881, in Malaga. He was the son of María and a painter named Jose Ruiz Velasco. Picasso began painting when he was 8 years old. And his first word was pencil. During his childhood, Picasso's family had a lot of financial problems, which made them move to Barcelona so that his father could work as a teacher, a job that was offered to him. At that time Picasso was already 14 years old and had an interest in art, at school he seemed to be the fastest and smartest child than most of them.In 1900 Picasso traveled to Paris to continue his career there and meet more people. He liked it so much that it didn't take him long to stay there permanently at the age of 23. Regarding his works, the style of the young Picasso was always realistic, this change was abandoning realism for a new historical style, cubism. Cubism was a much more extreme style that combined many colors and shapes, which made his works more abstract. Those works were exhibited in cities such as London and Barcelona, and he finally died on April 8, 1973.
