We suggest adding tips about:

    • "Celebratory activities" to remind athletes that they are under anti-doping rulesand who are always models to follow.
    • Values and how to win with integrity.

  • Whereabouts requirements.
  • Controls: the process, who can perform controls, types of controls, controls equipment.
  • Rules, including the Roster and any sport-specific additions.
  • TUE: what to do and how to get one if necessary during the competition.

Considerations for big games or big championships

  • Where to report intelligence or suspicions of doping.
  • What happens if anti-doping rules are violated and the possible consequences, including anyspecific consequence in team events.

Key dates, for example:

    • Games/championship period
    • When the jurisdiction changes.
    • Periods in and out of competition.

Major games or championships covering regional, continental and international sporting events require that athletes and Athlete Support Personnel (ASPs) have already received training on the fundamental principles of anti-doping (article 18.2 of the Code). In this context, the focus should be directed towards the specific anti-doping rules and procedures of the games, championships or cups. It is crucial to have an up-to-date copy of the competition's anti-doping regulations and review them thoroughly to identify key information that athletes and the PAD need to know. This process usually covers aspects such as:

Good job!
