Geographical features
Lebanon is located in Southwest Asia, in the Eastern Mediterranean region known as the Levant. It shares borders with Syria to the north and east. The Bekaa Valley is one of Lebanon's most important agricultural regions, stretching approximately 120 kilometers. The Litani River, one of the most important Lebanese rivers flow through the Bekaa Valley.The Mount Lebanon Range is a prominent geroaraphical feature of the country. Stretching along Lebanon's Mediterranean coastline. Lebanon's coastline stretches along the Mediterranean Sea for about 225 kilometers. This coastline is an important tourist and economic asset for the country.
