Geographical features

Lebanon is located in Southwest Asia, in the Eastern Mediterranean region known as the Levant. It shares borders with Syria to the north and east. The Bekaa Valley is one of Lebanon's most important agricultural regions, stretching approximately 120 kilometers. The Litani River, one of the most important Lebanese rivers flow through the Bekaa Valley.The Mount Lebanon Range is a prominent geroaraphical feature of the country. Stretching along Lebanon's Mediterranean coastline. Lebanon's coastline stretches along the Mediterranean Sea for about 225 kilometers. This coastline is an important tourist and economic asset for the country.

These majestic trees are primarily found in the mountains of Lebanon and are known for their beauty and longevity.

This pine is known for its drought resistance and ability to thrive in poor soils and challenging conditions such as rocky slopes and coastal areas. In Lebanon, the Aleppo Pine is common in coastal areas

People

Lebanese people are known for their cultural diversity, hospitality, and resilience amidst historical and social challenges. The majority are Christians, Muslims and Melkites. Lebanese people are often welcoming and generous with visitors, taking pride in sharing their food and home with friends, family and strangers. The Lebanese population tends to be highly educated and cosmopolitan, with many individuals speaking multiple languages and having an open-minded attitude.
