Characters

Every act has a main character known as the protagonist. The protagonist plays a crucial role in the act as the central theme revolves around their character and the changes they go through. However, it also has an antagonist, which creates hurdles in the protagonist's path. An antagonist is a character in the story who acts as the protagonist's main enemy or rival.

Plot

In any play or story, the characters and the plot are interdependent. The plot is the backbone of the play and comprises all the necessary events or actions. The characters drive the plot forward, and without them, the plot would not exist. In essence, the plot and the characters are two sides of the same coin, and they need each other to create a compelling and engaging story.

Music

Music is an essential element in theatre. Opera and modern music are two distinctive forms of music in theatre, with opera employing songs to express the emotions of the characters while modern music blends spoken and sung lyrics to create a unique experience. Music has the potential to provide insight into the emotional state of the characters, predict significant events such as impending violence or developing romance, and provide action taking place on stage.

Language

The language characters use is, without a doubt, one of the most critical factors in defining and enhancing their authenticity and credibility. The speech and rhythm of a character's lines provide critical cues to the audience and actors, allowing them to more accurately understand and immerse themselves in the character's world, including its time, place, and history, as mentioned in the presentation. As a result, the language used by characters is a vital tool for creating believable and compelling characters.

Spectacle

In theater, spectacles refer to visually striking elements of a performance, including actors' movements, blocking, and overall presentation. They are something exhibited to view as unusual, notable, or entertaining, especially an eye-catching or dramatic public display.

Theme

A theme is the underlying perspective or attitude taken towards a story's central topic or message. For instance, while love may be the topic, the theme may revolve around self-love. Themes convey significant ideas and messages about the challenges and predicaments the characters face within the narrative setting.
