La Moschea Hassan II a Casablanca, in Marocco, è una delle più grandi al mondo, completata nel 1993. Con una capacità di 25.000 fedeli all'interno e 80.000 nel cortile esterno, presenta un design unico che mescola elementi tradizionali e moderni dell'architettura islamica. La sua torre minareto alta 210 metri offre una vista panoramica sull'oceano Atlantico inoltre molti ragazzi giovani nuotano nei suoi sotterranei in cui è molto difficile nuotare per i suoi vortici e correnti
