Introduction

In recent years, the demand for careers related to business and finance has increased exponentially. Senior High School students become interested in the business sector, because of in-demand high-paying jobs or for their sole interest.

Taking the ABM strand can be challenging, it requires critical thinking, problem-solving, and analysis skills. It requires you to become adaptive and solve problems quickly, essential for careers in business. That's why it is necessary to develop different practices to surpass this challenges, from the study proposed by Ortile et al. (2017) Preferred Strategies and Practices of ABM Students in Accounting Subjects.

While the broader practices have been studied, little research has been conducted on specific approaches, particularly on Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business, and Management (FABM). It is an introductory course in Accountancy, Business, and Management. Analyzation skills are essential for this subject, as many students confirmed it is the hardest part of the ABM curriculum.

The importance of our study is to provide the best practices developed by ABM students for encountering FABM, and specifically FABM 2. We emphasize our beneficiaries for incoming grade 12 or Current Grade 11 students of the ABM strand. The purpose of this study is to conduct and find the best practices ABM students used while encountering FABM 2

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the cause and effects of the best practices developed by Grade 12 ABM students while encountering Fabm 2 and its benefits for incoming grade 12 students of ABM students at Calatagan Senior High School.

This study seeks to answer the following questions:

1) What are the reasons that shape the development of the best practices to excel in FABM 2 by Grade 12 ABM students?

2) What are the best practices that helped Grade 12 ABM students enhance their academic excellence in FABM 2?

3) What will be the benefits that the incoming Grade 12 ABM students will gain from this study?
