To tell what time it is, we need 2 words: - PAST: entre 1 minute et 30 minutes. On peut remplacer PAST par 'après'. - TO: entre 31 minutes et 59 minutes. On peut remplacer TO par 'pour aller jusqu'à'.

Exemple: In English, we always say the minutes first. 8:20 am - "It is twenty past eight." (Il est 20 minutes après huit heure) 9:55 am - "It is five to ten." (il reste 5 minutes jusqu'à dix heures)
0 minute devient "o'clock" 15 minutes devient "quarter" 30 minutes devient "half past"
