Evelyn Berezin
Evelyn Berezin was born on April 12, 1925, in The Bronx, New York and died on December 8, 2018, in Manhattan, New York.
studies
He went to New York University with the idea of graduating in Business but received a job offer and changed his field of study to physics. He graduated in 1945 in physics and in 1946 received a scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies at the same New York University. In 1951 she accepted a job at the Electronic Computer Corporation in Brooklyn as a computer designer. After the Underwood Corporation purchased this institution, Berezin became the head of the logic design department.

Underwood merged with Olivetti, but the project was not continued. After working at Underwood, Berezin went to Teleregister where he developed the first computerized reservation system for airlines.
In 1953, while working for the Underwood Company, Berezin created what is now considered the first office computer.
