Go!
wow
Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 and died on 30 January 1948. He was an Indian lawyer, an anti-colonial nationalist and a political ethicist who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India’s independence from Britain’s rule.
Who was Mahatma Gandi and what did he achieve?
Who did he refer to as the "Children of God" and why?
Gandhi refered to the Dalit people a sthe Childen of God, using the term Harijan. This was because he thought it was not polite or kind to think of people as untouchable, so he tried to change the public's perception of them. As well as this, he also worked for years to try and fight for their liberation.
