Che cos'è???

La pallacanestro è uno sport di squadra nel quale due formazioni di cinque giocatori ciascuno hanno l'obbiettivo di segnare punti facendo entrare la palla nel canestro avversario e impedendo agli avversari di fare altrettanto. La pallacanetsro è molta diffusa ed è uno degli sport olimpici. La Federazione Italiana della Pallacanestro è la FIP. Una delle associazione di basket più famose è l'americana NBA.

Le regole

Una partita di pallacanestro inizia con il salto a due: l'arbitro lancia la palla in alto tra due giocatori avversari che devono indirizzarla con un tocco verso un proprio compagno. La palla deve essere giocata solo con le mani e per avanzare nel campo con essa bisogna palleggiarla a terra o passarla ai compagni; infatti non si può correre con la palla in mano.

La squadra in attacco per superare la propria metà campo ha otto secondi. Per concludere l'azione, invece, la squadra in attacco ha a disposizione 24 secondi. Inoltre la palla non può essere trattenuta per più di cinque secondi senza palleggiarla. Un giocatore può al quinto fallo viene espulso dal campo. Una partita di basket è suddivisa in quattro quarti di 10 minuti ciascuno di gioco effettivo. Ci sono due intervalli da due minuti e un'intervallo a metà gara di 15 minuti. La partita è vinta dalla squadra che totalizza più punti; se però alla fine dell'ultimo quarto il punteggio è pari si va ai tempi supplementari ognuno di 5 minuti.

Il canestro vale 1, 2, o 3 punti a seconda di come viene realizzato: il canestro vale 3 punti se eseguito da un giocatore che si trova all’esterno della linea detta appunto “dei tre punti”; il canestro realizzato su azione di gioco e all'interno della linea dei tre punti ne vale 2; il canestro realizzato con un tiro libero a gioco fermo vale 1 punto.

Il campo da pallacanestro è di forma rettangolare. Misura dil lunghezza 26-28 m e di larghezza 14-15 m. Intorno al campo ci deve essere uno spazio libero. Le linee del campo sono: Linee di fondo e laterali, Linea centrale (mediana), Linee di tiri liberi, Cerchio centrale,

Baskin

Il Baskin è uno sport di squadra simile al basket nel quale giocano normodotati e diversamente abili insieme. In Italia le regole e i campionati di Baskin sono gestiti da EISI (Ente Italiano Sport Inclusivi). Le squadre sono miste anche dal punto di vista dell'età e del sesso. Il baskin è stato inventato nel 2003 a Cremona a scuola.

La maledizione di Pete Maravich: Pete Maravich fu un cestista americano che all'età di 26 anni affermò di non voler fare una carriera di dieci anni nell'NBA per poi morire a quarant'anni di infarto. Alla fine però avvenne ciò; infatti ebbe una carriera decennale nell'NBA e a quarant'anni morì d'infarto perchè sin dalla nascita gli mancava l'arteria sinistra del cuore e per anni visse nel miracolo.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant nasce il 23 agosto 1978 e da subito dimostra il suo talento per il basket. Nel 1989 entra nelle giovanili di basket di Los Angeles dove ottiene ottimi risultati. Nel 1996 entra in NBA con i Lakers dove rimane fino al 2016. Nello stesso anno si ritira. Bryant è tutt’ora uno dei migliori giocatori con 33.643 punti totali. Muore nel 2020 per incidente aereo.
