Here is an example. You have to ask the examiner questions about their picture and answer questions about yours. Examiner: "Where is your castle?" You: "My castle in on a mountain. Where is yours?" Examiner: "My castle is in the middle of a lake. What is your castle's name?" You: "My castle is called Black Castle. What about yours?" Examiner: "My castle is called Grey Castle"

Asking Questions

There are some questions that the exam uses a lot! Remember verb before pronoun!

Where are they?person/animal Where is the...? thing Again, the question is different if you are not talking about a person.

What is their name? person/animal What is the name of the...? thing With these two questions it depends if you are asking about a person or a thing

Just adjectives

What

One of the questions is always just adjectives (describing word), so then you ask these questions. For this, use be and or: "Is it expensive or cheap?" "Is she old or young?"

What time do they...?person/animal What time does the...? thing The verb that you use will depend on what the sheet says

With 'what' questions, the sheet will tell you what to ask about. Use do or be. For example: what / eat So you say: "What does she eat at the restaurant?"

Here is an example and the questions to ask: What is David's granny's name? Where does she live? How old is she? How often do they meet? Is she funny or serious? The verb ALWAYS comes before the pronoun!

Here is an example and the questions to ask: What is George's pet's name? What animal is it? When did he get it? Who gave it to him? Is it big or small? The verb ALWAYS comes before the pronoun! Here, the some of the questions must be in the past
