1. Each table has a paragraph from 'The Giver' taped to it with a word underlined. With your group rotate to each table and, by yourself, use the surrounding context to define the word. 2. When my timer is up read your definitions to your group (Conver-Stations) and decide together which definition is best to present. (Numbered Heads Together)

So then what is the "surrounding context?"
Surrounding Context Part 1
