YANEK'S FAMILY

Most of the members of Yanek's family were killed in the war including his mother Mina, his father Oskar and his Uncle Moshe. His only surviving family member after the war was a cousin, Yozek and his wife.

After the war Yanek came with thousands of refugees to the United States to seek a fresh start away from Europe.
