She was born on the 11th of September 1976 in Madrid. Since she was little she dreamed about cinema. Her first contact with the world of interpretation was when she was 12, when se was chosen to participate in a story about an abandoned doll. When she was 20, her parents tried to convince her to give up the idea of being an actress but they didn’t succeed. She has taken part in many tv series, several short films and films. In 2001 she was the main character in the film “Cuídate de mí”. Despite her vocation of being an actress she also finished a degree in engineering at Madrid University.

𝓙𝓮𝓼ú𝓼 𝓛𝓪𝓰𝓸 𝓢𝓸𝓵í𝓼

Intellectual disability of unknown etiology. She is in the occupational center of the Amas Foundation. She made pottery. 𝓖𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓪 𝓡𝓪𝓶𝓸𝓼

She is the smallest of the team. In the film she could be reflected in the sequence that goes to stun a player of the other team and she get give a kick in the crotch, she raise her arms and says: “That's it” tell Loli, her mother, who never plays with dolls , always played with boys and did sports like judo. Summary

Marco is the second coach in a basketball team of the most important league is Spain. He has problems at work, with his girl and with almost everything he has around. One day in the middle of a basketball match, these frustrations end up in a horrible discussion with the first coach and he is fired. He goes to court. The sentence orders him to train a very special basketball team made up by intelectual disabled people. Next day he introduces himself to the players. He discovers that they know almost nothing about basketball, and the are not able to understand his instructions either. He decides to begin teaching them how to run, although he tells them to run in a straight line they do it as he wants and when he turns they continue running and leave the court. Completely hopeless he goes to the team director, Julio to ask him if he can leave the team. The judge said he can’t pay a fine he has to train the team for 90 days. At night Julio calls him very happy because the team has been allowed to play the national championship thanks to having him as a coach. The following training sessions the players begin to understand how basketball is played, and they start to win some of the matches. In the final against the dwarfs when there were only 4 seconds to finish Benito, one of the players, decides to take the ball, go back and throw the ball without looking at the net… what will happen?

Opinion and values

This film has a great message. They are different in the way they act but they do no have any disability to love and give the best of themselves. We can learn so much form them that we are really disabled when we think we are superior. There is a reason why they are there and any person who has one of the nearby knows what I am talking about. It not only a fantastic film but it’s also funny, kindness, generosity and helps us to better understand these people. The film won an award about the education of valuation. Funny, I laughed as much as I had never before, they do it with a great enthusiasm and with affection. Brilliant actors and thanks to this opportunity they can express their feelings and be what they have always dreamed of.

𝓕𝓻𝓪𝓷 𝓕𝓾𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓼 𝓭𝓮 𝓞𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓪

Since he was a boy he showed up a big interest in literature, cinema and arts in general. He got a degree in Spanish Filology. In 2014 he wrote a play called “Sala de espera” which was performed in León in 2015. He observes the world and interacts with only a 10% of vision in his left eye as he lost the vision of his right eye many years ago. He consideres himself a blind man because of a couple of sight illnesses. He uses his disability to find everyday new ways of expression.
