In 1965, after the Martin Luther King's discourse, there was the Civil Rights Act, where the African Americans can have the same rights as other Americans and for the first time they can vote.The CIvil Rights Act was passed in 1968.

Why did I choose him?

I chose him because he sacrificed his life to end segregation through non-violent protests. I really like that despite the difficulties he continued to fight to enchanted all the Americans.
