Most people speak Spanish. Catalan (in Cataluña), Basque (in País Vasco) and Gallego (in Galicia) are also official languages.

Football is a very popular sport in Spain. Traditional sports also include: jai alai in the Basque region or pilota in Valencia.

The Mediterranean diet includes lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, fish and olive oil.
