- Trimester End 3/1
Greetings Old Colony Community,
We have made it to February. The “Groundhog” is predicting an early spring. Hard to believe it is right around the corner. Our sports teams are providing excitement around the school. Congratulations to the coaches and all the players for your hard work. Come out and support them. February break begins on the 19th. When we return, hopefully everyone will feel energized from having a week off. We will be starting the week off with our “All School Assembly”. At the assembly we will continue to celebrate the great things our students and staff are doing as well as continuing to educate our students on exercising kindness, empathy and safe behavior in and outside of school. I would be remiss in not recognizing Marcie Gamelin and Beth Botelho and all who helped with this year’s Frosty Runner Road Race. We saw record numbers of runners and even the weather cooporated. By all reports, it was another well organized event.
The days are getting longer and the spring sports season and spring Drama Club production can not be far behind. Come on over and support all our students as they strive to be the best they can be.
Is it too early to mention graduation? Mark your calendar. It will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 6pm under the lights at Oliviera Field.
Be Well,
Mr. Parker
