2024 Q1

  • The felt we needed to know what "good" looked like. We worked with Microsoft and the Communications department to start a checklist of SharePoint and design best practices.
  • The team discovered that there were mutliple Technology Services SharePoint Sites that we would need to gather and be aware as we move to unifying them.

2023 Q4

  • As the Webservices Team that supports SharePoint, we found it appropriate that we have our own SharePoint. We started this at the end of 2023.
  • The main Technology Services SharePoint was managed by a member of the PMO team. We discussed that this was best managed by the Webservices team so we took possession at the end of 2023.

2024 Q2

  • After presenting to executive leadership, we hope to get approval for Web Services site to go live.
  • After presenting to executive leadership, we hope to get approval to move forward with a plan to unify (and improve to a standard) all TS SharePoint sites.
  • We will collaborate with the training team to develop SharePoint training that covers not only creation and management but also highlights best practices for design.

2025 Q1

  • Continue ongoing support to the existing SharePoint sites and overall intranet infrastructure of MNPS

2024 Q3

  • We hope to continue to work with Technology Services SharePoint owners to make improvements and unify.
  • Q3 with start of school is typically a very busy time of the year for SharePoint support as schools and principals make changes to their respective sites

2024 Q4

  • We hope to complete the unificaiton of the existing Technology SharePoint and take it live.
  • Continued collaboration with the Communications Department to maintain sites.
